The world's biggest snake is probably a Reticulated Python that was found in Indonesia. This snake is the longest and heaviest snake that was ever captured by humans. The python that was captured had a length of about 14.85m (48.72ft) and a weight over 447kg !

It was a hard task to capture this enormous snake and therefore there were needed like 65 men to capture it. Once they had captured the snake and kept it in captivity, they needed to feed this enormous reptile with around 3 to 4 dogs a month.

However the Guinness Book of World Records lists another Reticulated Python with a length of about 9.75m as the longest snake ever captured. Hopefully they will change it and make the 14 feet Reticulated Python the longest and biggest snake that was ever captured.

(the picture above isn't the biggest snake in the world)
